Where will the NW servers be hosted?

Bloody Europeans grumbling about it being in Germany, Texas is nowhere near being centrally located in North America and I usually get the same or higher ping on Texan servers than I do on East Coast ones. 100-140 ping doesn't stop me from cracking skulls though

That's what happen if your country is so big. I'm pretty sure Texas is quite locally if you look at North America. Maybe a bit to the south.

Its the only ideal place centrally. Infrastructure in the middle states? Thats like Fiber Optic internet available in kentucky  (I told the people, I'd personally pay for the Fiber Wire to be connected to my house. No dice.)

And the current US Official MM server is in Texas.

That explains why I usually have 90 ping on US servers.
They might not realize that the US is very large and Texas isn't exactly central...
Having a server hosted in Texas of California AND a server hosted form Philadelphia or New York might be more productive...

Texas is in the dead center BOTTOM of the south of the USA, not a great location if you live in Canada (even though most Canadians are not that far from the USA).

Nebraska or Colorado would be nice, but yeah I think Texas is a major hub in the internet infrastructure in the states and I highly doubt Nebraska or Iowa are. I'd love a closer server but I've never had any real problems playing on Texan or East Coast servers to warrant demanding & funding a closer server.

Oh gosh, I live in Quebec. That's about as far as you can get from Texas in North America, 'cept for Nunavut and Labrador.

I'll just be over here in Australia being a non-existent market for multiplayer titles.

With all the new blood, I reckon servers will jump up left right and centre. Including Austrialia-based.

We now have official servers:
- Germany (Frankfurt)
- United states (Dallas,Texas)

Clans and regiments also have a whole bunch of servers up from all over the world. However I'm not sure about you aussies!

If there is a australian clan regiment or anyone really that has access to a server box, hit me a PM for the server files and ill send them over to you.
