Server is using version 9.99?

For some reason I can't enter any of the deluge servers, I keep getting an error saying that they are version 9.999 and that I have the wrong version. I went to see if there were any patches and there were so I updated. Even though I have updated it still says servers are using version 9.999 even though I have the most recent version and I can't find any fixes for it.

Help anyone?

apply the hotfix,worked for me,however now i am randomly crashing on the team menu screen

Is that 0.552? Because I tried that and it didn't work. If it isn't could you post a link to the hotfix?

Done that, as I stated before but I tried it again anyway and it still doesn't work.

It's because you're running old WSE version. It should get updated with the 0.552 patch, but probably you have your WSE files somewhere lese. Try launching the game with WSELoader.exe directly from "Modules\The Deluge 0.5\WSE" directory. Should anyone else face this problem and ends up in this topic via the search function:

I had the very same problem as the OP in the beginning. Did all that was suggested above yet I couldn't seem to get it to work.
Turned out the problem was neither Deluge nor WSE not being up-to-date, but rather having started the module from the WSE shortcut I had on my desktop that I had copy-pasted from my c-RPG WSE folder. Firing up Deluge from 'The Deluge' module's WSE folder seemed to do the trick in the end!

(This will evoke a "Well yeah, duuuh"-reaction from most of you reading this, but there's bound to be more computer noobs like me out there.)
