Plenty of us have done it (although I didn't need to, since I don't use Steam)

Part of the problem might be that the german steam servers are down so that many people might be unable to start warband in the first place. Cunning how it is theres also no way to start it in offline mode as you can't start steam to activate that either.... all in all I am aiming towards buying nothing steam related in the future anymore, as those unfortunate people like me who got a 5x5 cd key can not even use the steam-less 1.143 version anymore

The Fix doesn't work, hence why I havn't played.

Not that it matters, it can give me a wee break from Vikingr before WSE and Vikingr patch.

The plus side of this entire patch debacle is that when WSE and Vikingr do update we shall have a nice and full server for a time. Huzzah.
