ok, i've got a problem, played just fine yesterday but now i get kicked from the server everytime
i'm still able to write a message but right after i'm kicked
i'm up to date with patches and stuff, and i use the desktop shortcut

In such cases it usually has nothing to do with being kicked. A few things you could try are turning off your firewall and making your your internet connection doesn't cut out in any way. But if you could play normally the days before it is more likely that this is a temporary thing that might cause no problems by tomorrow.

Another thing is though that you should make sure not to use the WSE version that was implemented for 0.90, as the 0.93 patch uses a newer WSE version, namely WSE 2.5.2. If you start with the desktop shortcut you should be fine though, still you could try starting with the WSELoader placed in your Vikingr folders "WSE" subfolder to be sure.
Still if you keep having this problem for longer, just write about it and we could try around a bit...

When I click on the Víkingr desktop icon, I get two launchers (no it's not a mouse problem; I've checked). Apparently only one of those will be the proper WSE launcher, and if I choose poorly I won't be able to join a server, getting the usual non-WSE error message.

These are the shortcut's properties:
Target: "C:\...\Steam\SteamApps\common\mountblade warband\Modules\Vikingr\WSE\WSELoader.exe" -p ..\..\..\mb_warband.exe -m "Vikingr"
Start in: "C:\...\Steam\SteamApps\common\mountblade warband\Modules\Vikingr\WSE"

Nothing is wrong on your part. It's a 'bug' in WSE apperently. Take a look here, there are other people with the same problem.

Applied latest patch and always get the following message when launching (and then crashing):

"Unable to open file: Modules\Vikingr\Resource\materials.brf"

Can anybody help?

You should just reinstall Vikingr, at best you should simply remove your current Vikingr folder and then use the installer followed by the hotfix so nothing gets corrupted. In this case you describe the game can't find those resources for some reason, so I guess something was not set up properly or just in an incomplete way.

something seems wrong... it sais that the server is using a newer module of mount & blade warband ( 9.372 ) and i should get the new one... wich is 2.41 ( something not sure. the newest one ) what is wrong? one internet for the one finding out what's wrong

oh you, its a known error, that only means silly Assasin_Nietsmmar forgot mod should be launched through WSELoader.exe, not warband.exe. Launch vikingr by the shortcut installer made on your desktop or just run WSELoader.exe placed in ...\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules\Vikingr\WSE

That error message is usually due to using an old version of the WSE (warband script enhancer) to start the game. If you just use the warband.exe the scripts that are based on this enhancement will not be able to run, and that shuld explain the error message. Instead you should either start the game via the Vikingr shortcut that was created on your desktop by the installer, or alternatively the "WSELoader.exe" located in your Vikingr module folder inside the WSE subfolder.

But you don't have to download it especially, it comes with the installer. Only you have to start with it, by either clicking the installer or the WSELoader in the WSE subfolder of the Vikingr module folder.
