The only thing wrong with "1k or die" is that the guy saying it thinks he's roleplaying as per server rules telling him so.

I'm astounded the intelligence made even that type of leap. Here I was thinking it was already as low as possible. I shall now look at failbandits in a whole new way.

If they had only been that clear with me. Bandits would never tell me what they really wanted from me, which usually ended up with one of us dead.

Well robbing money directly was extremely difficult, because of the coins system. It used to be far easier to stop everyone's horse with a pike and demand velvet.

It is victim which should bring money to the table not robber. Robber can not know(IC) that victim has any money at all

Problem is that robbers know other players have money on them, because everyone carries thousands of denars with them everywhere they go. It would be 'metagaming' to make the robbers act as if they didn't know the victim had money.

realistically we wouldnt carry much around with us and would use banks or hide it in our homes but we dont have those things ingame so limits have to exist really
