Connection to server was lost HELP!!!

i don't have spybot installed atm as last time it was installed i had virus's and since then i have cleaned them out with a full restore of my system

i connect to servers fine, its when im on the server i constantly get disconnected, the only message i get is "connection lost"
its freaking bullshit as its making multiplayer unplayable

Did either of you share your key, or purchase a key that was being used by someone else?
Your cd key can't be used by multiple machines at the same time. Any scenario you can imagine where someone else is trying to play warband with your key would prevent both of you from playing at the same time, and you would be kicked.
If you install warband on multiple comps, only one of those will be able to play MP.
If you install warband on a friend's comp and they buy it later, your cd key will still be on their comp.
If you pirated warband before you bought it, the pirated cd key will still be on your comp.
If none of these things look like something that happened to you, then I suspect you are being interrupted by one of these things:
Antivirus
Firewall
Router
ISP
Malware/virus
If it isn't any of these things, then it's a miracle, and your computer is unique. :D

haha well i store bought mine so its a steam game, but i use the non steam version.
i will dl the steam version tonight and try that to see if it has any better luck. i never pirtated this game, its only installed on this computer, non of my rl friends play or even know about warband :/
i have used this firewall since before i got warband and had no problems with it, same with my av, but the routers have changed soo many times and i have a suspision that the current one may be reaching the end so i will see about replacing it anyway. and i doubt maleware but it never hurts to check so i'll get that done too.
