I'm not expecting a much different result BTW, Poland has a bad ass team.

I believe no one is expecting a different result.

I'm not so sure about that, some Brazilian players got 3 kills, with 300 ping. Surely they would play better with 100 ping.

There should be a rematch only if both Brazil and Poland agree to it. Brazil was responsible to arrange it's "Home Server" while Poland was responsible to arrange it's own. The Polish team also waited quite a bit according to the account of Dziob, giving Brazil the chance to arrange their server for an additional 30+ minutes at start and at halftime.

I don't like this poll, as it is only black or white, not taking into account the different factors that were involved.

Poland should know better than to take advantage of Brazil, which is clearly what happened here. Furthermore, I seriously doubt Team USA will be a fair location for the match by any standards and would suggest they look into playing on central server like Balion War Room. I'm also starting think UK Brazil might need to go to Texas or something. Essentially, Brazil need to get some proper testing done because what they've provided so far is not sufficient.

Also, don't contact me asking for the Team USA admin pass. I'm not an event admin.

Shouldn't have made that remark seeing as I will now get involved into a pointless "after the fact" discussion.

I believe no one is expecting a different result.

I'm was not implying otherwise (depending on "different"), although:

I'm not so sure about that, some Brazilian players got 3 kills, with 300 ping. Surely they would play better with 100 ping.

Compare to the France vs Canada for instance, I don't think it will change that much, though Bra might win a couple of rounds.

It's nice of event admins to reschedule however, think nobody enjoys one side playing at 300 ping (on either side).

It strikes me that Brazil have essentially failed to do any adequate testing, failed to organise any server and failed to really maintain proper contact with the teams they will be facing. It's a bit farcical to claim it's evil Poland pulling one over on the plucky Brazilians. It feels like some black and white narrative has been created which his totally ridiculous.

(edit) Having said that I see no harm in a rematch.

I am expecting a different result. Poland can be great but they are not used to fight at 150 ping where as brasil is more used to it. I am expecting brasil to win atleast 4 rounds. I will work with them so they a challenge. Underdogs unite !

Killfacer: People's opinions are colored of whether they could've been on the disadvantaged side or not. I agree Poland is the courteous party here, portraying it as "Poland screwing Brazil" is certainly straying far from facts, but I didn't see many that did.

My opinion is, choose the alternative that minimizes the amount of people feeling butthurt in the end. Due to my prediction of Poland winning again, I believe that would simply be replaying the match.

Again, this is after the fact and has no bearing on what's already been decided.

This^^
The Poles aren't so,"bad-ass", if they get killed by players with 250 ping.

I don't know how good the Brazilians are, I just know the Polish team is very good and I suspect it will show again in the next match, we will see. ;)

As for such huge pings: You can still get random kills, particularly with ranged weapons.

To clarify: no blame is being placed on either party. Stuff went wrong, a rematch can be re-scheduled to correct that.

Where something happened, there must be AMERICAN GUY ORION, ALWAYS! or any other amrican guy... tha's so annoying...

Nobody here was blaming you or your team.

There's definitely fault on both sides, but that's even more reason for the results to be nullified. Even if Poland 20-0's them again, as long as the Brazilian team has playable ping for half of the rematch I think all parties will be happier. Poland would know they can still beat Brazil, and Brazil knows they got another chance for a fair fight & aren't just swept under the rug.

Well handled, Alex.

Good luck to both teams in the rematch.
