As the title says, Warband detects only 1 gb of ram. Causes crashing and black textures. I have 4gb of ram. I have tried the method with CFF explorer to allow application to read more than 2gb, but it already allowed it.

Any ideas at all? Would reinstalling windows possibly help?

Nope, merely merely checked if the "app reads more than 2gb" box was tacked. This all happened a long time ago, before using CFF, which I used to possibly find a solution to this problem, obviously.

Delete rgl_config.txt in \Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\ and see if that fixes anything.

Not sure if this is significant, but tohttp://forums.taleworlds.com/Smileys/phpbb/icon_confused.gifday I installed Wfas again and checked its .rlg log, and it reads all 4GB of ram.

And I tried deleting rlg_config a a few weeks ago. Didn't help.
