Are there any plans to include Prussia and the Austrian Empire? The both played major roles in Eastern Europe during this period.

Representing the Electorate of Bavaria in the Balance of Power 1750 game.

Prussia was or a very minor state or didn't even exist at the time.
[Waterloo] was Bourbon victory. The Allies were just marks bleeding on Louis' altar.
I forget nothing.
I regret nothing.

Two thing wrong with useing the battle of Lepanto to justify the inclusion of spain as a faction in the game.
it is atleast 60 years before the mods time period 1571
and it was a naval battle that took place in the mediterian not the steppes of eastern europe :P

Spain is not such as great idea, they have nothing to do with the conflicts portrayed in the mod. ok

Out of all the factions in "western europe" the one who would fit most is prussia (unless their already here and i havent seen them)
Edit: having just read the above comments, prussia did exist as an independent military state

I have to agree with Hinkel and Viccard, Prussia wasn't that significant back in XVII century, it was small, polish fief. However, HRE would be a very interesting option, same about Austria. Mod lacks armies with infantry. :P

as pointed out on the same page you posted your suggestion :P, Prussia was a small poor duchy under Polish control, their inclusion in the game wouldn't make much sense.

The Hre is not so suited for its depiction as a single faction, it was composed of small mostly independant states. they had rivalries and alliances and wars with each other, a unified Holy roman Empire faction would not make sense

Ok, you have reason, but Spain is the best faction, and very easy to create

Lol. In the same way of thinking, you can say we have to add Roman Empire, because it was the best. Not this times, not this part of the world. Rhudda explained that. ;)
