Western European Countries?

I'm not from dev team, but i'll try to answer you. Propably not, because they made this only for our "Polish" wars at XVII centuries. We didn't fight with Spain or France at that times. But propably future will show us something. Or am i wrong? We'll see...

We're considering other factions, yes. Especially after Galeon Fights game type will be finished, it'll make a lot of sense to add other countries. However, it'll be kinda hard to do, since Bartus is currently our only modeller/texturer. Also, Tsardom of Russia faction is next in line, so other factions just have to wait for better times to come.

As Verator said, it probably isn't historically accurate for a Western EU country to be implemened. Having said that, it would be cool to have a "European Mercenary" class for each faction, so you could have the Uniform/Weapon

Why not be historical? Is it in the XVII century there was no western factions?

If i read your post right. While there were obviously Western Factions, the mod itself is not set in the West, it is set in the East, for the polish wars (i think?), meaning that adding in England sidetracks from the original storyline

The fact that we start from our own backyard does not mean that the mod can not be extended to the entire euro or even further

Well, I partially agree with  that. We should stick to the idea of eastern type warfare. But at the other hand, Austria or HRE would be something completely different than Cossacks or Turks, just another improvement, more  variety.

The Dutch military reforms and combat manuals really affected other countries. So yeah they would be nice, in some distant future ofcourse . (This is also the Dutch golden age)
