Siam Armour.

(1/6) > >>

Sir William the Brave:
Have you even see a movie called King Naresuan? It's a historical film about a king. I really like his armour!
It's a docorated plate armour! here's the picture.

Cool isn't it? Well actually commoner didn't wear this armour only a generals and the king himself wear this armour. From what I know that during Ayutthaya age, The Siam has hired many mercenaries from Europe and Asia too!

Rallix:
Why was this thread made.
If you wanted to post a picture of a person in armour, then you should have gone to the best dressed warrior thread.
Also, that stuff is crap in comparison to the stuff Maximilian I would wear.

Royal Armour Thread?

Devercia:
We did have a discussion about this picture some time ago, mostly around the fact that it was of european design with superficial Siamese stylization's. Looks nice though, if a bit not-Hollywood-y.

Roach XI the Magnificent:
Speaking of European style armor in the far east...

That's the armor of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the man who unified Japan for the last time and created the Tokugawa shogunate. It's made in the Portuguese fashion, although I don't recall if it was actually Portuguese made.
