Couple of new gameplay videos from Gamescom just got put up on Gametrailers.
First up we have some
One on One action then some
Village raid mode.
Yet to watch the videos myself shall comment when I do. Still, really looking forward to this game and after playing a certain Alpha and finding it lacking, I must say I can't bloody wait.

Right then, having just watched those, I'm now fully sold. I will admit I have been eager for Chiv for a long while now as I used to play AoC a tonne and my oh my am I impressed. I'm seeing so many simple features here that I have been wanting for a long while, deployable pavise shields, arrow types so on and so on. Also for all you anti first person chaps they go on to showcase the new third person view which has a limited FOV and seems quite balanced to my eyes. Damn, I have to say I enjoyed everything about and well done to some regular Joe's who made a mod then put all their finances on the line to make a game. Well done.
I have previously asked over on their forums about mod support where I was told of plans to release an SDK and support modding but they never stated if we could create conversions because I can see a fair few Taleworlders hopping ship if we can get some more historically grounded and realistic mods on the go. Damn, I can't wait. I'm off to give them more money on the old Kickstarter.
After checking back over on the forums they have indeed said a full UDK SDK shall hopefully be out near to release. After playing RO2 that could mean in a few years.
