US Dedicated server

Comrades,

How can it be called dead when there is still fun to be squeezed from it?

It seems to me many folks in the mount and blade community are not even aware of this good times mod.

In hopes of shocking some life out of the body i have setup a 20 person dedicated server located in the US.

It will be up until late January at the least, currently the server is only allocated 20 slots but if i see it getting used\full i will bump it up to 40.

The sever name is "WWII" its the only china battlefield dedicated server so it should be easy to find.
The game mode is generally set to Last man Standing.

So new players, curious older players etc... download this gold and hop on over for a fun time.

Lets get enough players to start having battles etc.... now if i can just figure out how to limit the classes.

Guys throwing grenades from horseback is a bit busted

We can revive it indeed, just if it had more support from the community. If the developement is halted that doesn't mean death.

Advertize it as much as possible. I'll personally set up a new "propaganda" campaign.

Edit: I don't know about LMS though, maybe Capture the Flag ?

And please update the server with the leatest version.

I was under the impression that i am running the most current version.
Is this not the case?

Also we have had enough people at this point to run in battle mode and the server changes game modes on a regular basis.

Sometimes there isn't enough people for it to be battle..well,battle would not be very fun with just a couple of people,but when there is about 15+ people on,and an admin,there is normally a vote to change to battle mode.

Thanks for still having this server up, we had a great game tonight with around 12 or so of us plaing. We're hoping to play a few nights a week since its so much fun. On a busy night our group could probably find 20+ people to play
