Those are custom names accepted by the community.  I have the orginals I made, but am not going to give them out.   

Best to make your own.

Me and my friend wish to play, locally, on Mount & Blade and are wondering if it's possible to player the single player gamemode, I.E: The map thing.

Not so much bothered about the battles.
But if it's possible to play the lot that's cool?

Nope, it's not possible, it's been suggested around a bazzilion times (and yes, I agree there should be some sort of way to coop singleplayer), but for now, it's not possible.

How can I switch rendering between dx 7 and 9 without using the game launcher?

I seached in all of the tale words forum to see if there was an article with a link to the download of the 1.143 version, but i didn't find it.
I need the 1.143 version of warband because toomany mods ar for that version and I want to try them.
