Game freezes when entering person view

I haven't played Mount and Blade for very long but for a while the game worked perfectly well.  However suddenly it just stopped working.  I don't think I did anything to edit the settings but every time I go into a view that involves my character, such as a battle or meeting a Lord, it freezes so that it goes in a mini cycle, about half a second long, repeating the same movements.  I can give orders but the text then blurs and stays.  Has anyone got any ideas how to fix it or what is wrong?

Video drivers are updated ? Is there anythin wrong ? Like green textures in your game ?

As I said in the other thread, you may not have the required standards to run Mount&blade Warband/Mount&blade. Warband needs 2.1GHz and M&B needs 1.0Ghz but I doubt you have any lower than 1.0GHz.


Have you tried to reinstall the game? It usually helps, not always but sometimes.

And I'm pretty sure M&B doesn't run on windows 7

It works , but it won't have the same performance as on windows xp. 7 requires 1gb of ram for himself , so games will have decreased performance ! That is why xp is better for ancient-lame-old-faggy-medium pc's.

I have a Hp Pavilion with 1000gb space on hard  drives, a 3.1 GHz processor and a intel core i3.

He deserves whatever he gets, IMO. Also, people who posts links without much of an explanation are scum anyway. If it's worth posting a new topic about, it's worth explaining in greater detail. If it's not worth explaining in greater detail, chances are it's not worth looking at in the first place, so why bother checking it out?
