lol, i keep reading this thread, and i keep thinking of the att advert with the guy that signed up for "unlimited cell minutes" and his wife starts going off on him about how expensive it will be and how she shoulda married someone else...

Except in this case I am the one who has all the power and all he does is get beaten up. He can't even defeat a caravan I had to save him. He is like a hobo -.-. I have 2 towns and 4 castles and I can solo his army with just my companions. I guess no one likes him because he is one of the weakest guys in the empire who constantly gets defeated. Ugh I wish he had a castle so he isn't so weak.

Maybe even his family members consider him the loser lord.

I believe there is a chat option to where you can convince other lords to support someone else.  If I recall correctly it's phrased something like, "Let me tell you who I support."

Apparently you're loser as a lady. Chasing worthless boys instead of stomping rose petals, cakes and whatever fancy stuff they present to you with your armored boots? No way! Put some Heavy Morningstar under his pillow to deliver some message.

I am not chasing these guys I just want to use them for their free garrison troops and extra fiefs that I can manage and use. 
Also if I put my troops in his garrison I don't have to pay a single denar.

Also Mattrim I am going to try that. It works the same way as if you wanted them to support you right?

Do you say you can store 10000 troops for free and use them when you want? Heh, then there's nothing to complain about, forget that worthless worm and leave him for his destiny to be beaten, let him suffer his immortality maybe he'll learn something in the process.

Ok this is weird O.o. The Empire won't stop giving me fiefs this is ridiculous. I have 4 castles and 3 towns now.... My renown is only 1752.... Also I can't ask anyone to support my husband only me :/. It is too soon for me to rebel. I have too many fiefs lol. I want to start off my kingdom with fewer fiefs I guess I will let them take back Ishkoman:/ maybe.

1750 renown is more than most other lords will have, they're trying to reward you for being the faction's battering ram. XD as for not wanting so many fiefs.. when you make your own faction you can  always give the fiefs to lords that join you.(or bribe them with said fiefs so they can defend it while you do important stuff)
Otherwise I think there's an option to give your hubby troops so he wont be so fragile.. and request that he follow you around or attack something you want to attack, that way he can share the credit when you take another castle.. and he can rescue-hire prisoners to further beef up his army.

I thought the only person who got credit was the person who besieged the castle?

Anyway I made a new game and all the good empire male lords are either taken or say My lady, there are other maidens who have captured my heart  .

It takes awhile but they will eventually come around. Keep raising relations with them. I had one say that and finally he said lets get hitched. The best part was, he said meet me at my castle,I'm tired of waiting for a feast. I met him at the castle and we got hitched, no feast required.

They won't eventually come around in most cases at least if they say that. I checked via cheating. 100 relations and nothing. My renown and charisma were also fairly high. Also based on a guide I read.

I think this means they are on track to being married with someone else. NPCs in the game actually do marry and have wives, no idea how this works.
I think it is not 100% that they will end up with the person that has 'captured their heart'. If you wait around, they may change their mind. I know in one game after a very long time

So the odds of them changing their mind are not 100% and it takes a while. Honestly not sure if worth it. I just let the empire conquer a few castles and eventually a lord that I was eligible got a castle and I married him. He was slightly above average 650 renown empire lord. Yea the lord also asked me to follow him to his castle since feasts could not be held due to war.

Sure it takes a while, and is a pain. But a little patients and you can turn him around. It took around 125 game days. relation 37. He has 2 castles and 2 villages. It helped that he followed the marshal around like a puppy. So I gained relation with him after faction battles. But I waited to see what would happen if i kept asking after every relation gain. Eventually it worked. I think time and pursuit factor in somewhere.

This thread made me want to start a female play through.  It took forever just to find a guy that wasn't martial status with a castle.  Everyone I asked said they wanted some flighty bimbo instead of a woman!    Finally, in the Empire I found some fella by the name of Deodatus, who was smitten with me the moment he saw me.  I still had to build relation up to ~15 before he agreed to marry me.  We were on campaign and when I went to talk to him after a battle for more relation he was also tired of waiting and off we went to his castle to wed.  Having free garrisons is amazing! Plus I took all his legionaries and armored crossbow men TEEHEE!

Maybe but 125 in game days is quite a lot. Also one of the guys was really obnoxious anyway. I think he is going to turn traitor too based on asking him what he thought of the king and the amount of quarrels he has. Maybe I will try to get him kicked out of our kingdom and ask to have his castle.
