Luckily that is a rarity.

A rarity? You do realize that even western democracy has at least as many gaps in the system like any other law on this f*cking planet right?

I am talking severe cases being a rarity, things like the Patriot Act.  Obviously the smaller shit happens regularly.

I also want to point out something that struck me as interesting:  Swordmaster saying about burning "the Bible or even Qur'an itself".  The way that is phrased shows that he obviously is more offended by the thought of the Qur'an being burned than the Bible, which shouldn't be the case.  Both SHOULD be equally offensive.  I personally believe that the Qur'an is just the ramblings of a false prophet, yet I know that many people in the world believe it to be the word of God as transcribed by the Prophet Muhammad.  Because it is so important to many people, the thought of it being burned is terrible to me, and I was highly offended by what our (American) troops did in Afghanistan at the military base not long ago.  Also, if I were living in a church/religion influenced government I would not be able to say that, which therefore also shows why church and state must be separate...not being so would imply the religion in power is superior and would consequently almost certainly infringe on the rights of those who don't practice it at some point or another.

If Swordmaster's words were simply a result of him not being in mastery of English (which is understandable since it isn't his first language) then I apologize, but honestly his English has seemed very good thus far, so I am going off of the belief he knows English grammar rather well.

I actually emphasized on Qur'an because I gave an example of my country, which is Turkey. Since majority of the Turks are Muslim, they'd rather get offended by the burning of Qur'an, but also would not approve the burning of the Bible as well. It's just an observation really, not my personal feelings towards a certain holy artifact than any other ones. Like your opinion, I hold things that people, or myself, hold dear as equal as possible.

Thanks for the compliment by the way, I've been learning English for more than a decade so if there's any mistake, it'd be my silliness.

Fair enough.  I hope you can see how the phrasing of it was interesting, in my opinion.  Thanks for the clarification.

Just want to clarify something. İsa (Christ) is an ancestor of Muhammed (and their ancestors are Sumerian. The first ancestor of Muhammed who learned how to speak Arabic was Ismail). They are from the same family which is Kureyş. The word itself is related to "Guru" and I don't want to talk about the Turkic roots of the word (for obvious reasons..)..  Unfortunately, most of what is known about İsa was destroyed (or hidden) by these powermongers during Roman times. So the only thing which talks about İsa are the bibles.

The Kureyş family is among what Arabs call "Arab-ı Müsta’ribe". It means "people that were not Arabic in the past".

The Kureyş family was called "hanif" by the Romans. Just like people living in Russia in old times.  The word have two different meanings. 1-People that are not superstitious, that do not worship idols, people, etc. 2-People that are not Christians . The two meanings could be related to each other or maybe not.

Abraham married a Turkic (don't know her ethnicity) princess named Kan Tura (Lady Tura?) according to Syrian historian Ebul Ferec and also İbnü’l-İbri. So their descendents (including İsa (Christ) and Muhammed) are half Turkic - half Sumerian. But this does not necessarily mean they share the same cultural traits. Because they grew up it totally different cultural environments. Still, anyone can be a good person regardless of being an Aztec, Turkish, Greek, Chinese, or African.

Tura might be one of these head scarves: http://kadinbasliklari.blogcu.com/turk-kadin-basliklari/2409102   which is adorned with many of things like this: http://www.ancienttouch.com/127.jpg

Muslims think that the bible was corrupted by powermongers. Quran talks about it.

In my opinion, those evil powermongers were a branch of expelled Turks who influenced those whoever wrote the pieces of bible.

Still Muslims Muslim Turks won't burn down any holy book because they revere them since according to them, all religious books hold some correct information. It's not because Muslims are better people or more tolerant of other cultures.

Without getting into your bizarre views on thing ancalimon, it is more likely that many Muslims don't like to see the Bible burned because Jesus is still a prophet in the Islam faith.  He might not be seen as the son of God or the incarnation of God (depending on whichever Christian denomination), but he is still seen as a prophet.  That is probably a more likely reason why Muslim Turks don't burn the Bible.

Arghh, not again. Please, ancalimon, keep your foolish discussions to your own thread. Don't corrupt this thread with your dumb "researches".

No.Jesus is not a prophet. The true prophet of Islam (before Muhammed) is named İsa according to Islam.

I was talking about it. It's not because Muslims are better people that they don't burn the bible or other nations' flags in general. It's because they believe in something.

There are no true nor false prophets in Islam. A prophet of the one true faith (which I mean covers the whole beliefs towards a one deity) will always be the true prophet.

No. In Islam, every other prophet before Muhammed are true prophets of Islam. Tha last of them is Muhammed and they all were messengers of the single and only God. Also there are many false prophets. Quran talks about an imaginary prophet created by some powermongers and resulting in corruption of old Christianity. Quran says that İsa was not killed on the cross but someone who became identical to him through the will of God. This is a time paradox because I think İsa is a Deus Ex Machina. Someone who is there right on time. A time traveler who has special powers. Existing at two different places at the same time being one of those powers. What we call bilocation.  You can say that he is some kind of Dr. Who. Seriously.  OR Hızır is a different person he is the one that saved İsa.

İsa is synonymous with Hızır who we could call the Patron Saint of Turks. He is the mentor of all of the other prophets before him. He time travels and educates other prophets. Moses being one of them and Quran talks about this incident. Muhammed talks to him during the Ramadan and it's believed that Muhammed is an exception and he is the only prophet who tutors Hızır. Quran talks about Allah giving special powers to Hızır. That he was not bound by the rules that existed for other humans. For example he does not have to pray like other humans and he prays in a different way. Many things that are prohibited to other humans are not prohibited to Hızır. It's said that Hızır is always there when a new nation rises.

These prophet all come from gurus. These gurus gathered together and this gathering is called kurul or kurultaj.

Because there are many false prophets according to Islam and Jesus is one of them. According to Islam, he is an imaginary prophet created by powermongers. Otherwise Islam would have talked about a Jesus who is the avatar of God on Earth. But that's against the core teaching of Islam.

What I mean is that nature of Jesus and nature of Isa are completely different concepts.
