Pay attention to the guy in the center of the first pic,he uses his rifle as a melee weapon.Epic.

Very nice ones, both Raddy and WRC.
I agree on last of Raddy as the best (I dislike old grey pics, it is just me....I like colors!  ) and I love all WRCs (that colored/painted/action style!  ) but they are all about 1870/80s ......
Look at the revolvers. They are the 1873 Frontier Colt.
If we want to be HISTORICAL we need to show 1860/69 (or earlier) pics, see?
But I love your taste guys.
And, hey! That s Charles Russel in late 1880s showing his painting in the Saloon 
I love all Charles Russel, SHreyvogel and Remington paintings, actually ...and I got 2 huge books about Russel and Remington works, from my ex american wife, as Christmas presents, in the past....

I honestly like a lot the Menu Pic that HINKEL made expecially for me as a present, see...

Urs is different than my taste, and some cowboy pics are around 80s more than 60s.
....and NO indians are there!

It's so... dark.
The main screen of the current version is, well, a nice picture. But here, there are several pictures, all separated. I like it less than the current one, TBH.

Read up above and U ll see that we moved some critcs to thar actual Menu Pic as well, but since no change was made, I kept it as it is.

Sry think you guys understand that I made an menu screen, but it´s an LOADINGSCREEN (sry for caps)
You can see the loading screen when you load an savegame and you can find it in the textures folder as "loadscreen2"
The normal LOADSCREEN (sry) has 1 picture, I am bored from it, But... you musn´t use mine.

You are right!
The actual LOADING screen (CAPS! I love them...hehehe)  is not proportioned and always about ACW!!!

I said tons of times: 1860s Old America is NOT an ACW (American Civil War) Mod!!!!!

IS MUCH/MUCH MORE than that!!!!!!!!!! 

That s why I love it so much and I care so much about its development!

It s a whole piece of history about the entire northern part of the AMERICAN CONTINENT!! 

....and is sooooo much fun to play using modern guns!!!!!!!! 

Mmmmhhh.....and....what about a Loadingscreen pic that has a "mix" of 1860s PICS (I hate black and white Photographs, I adore Colorful Paintings!! ) ??!!
This Topic already has many great colorful pics, from Auldman and others....and 1860s Forum has many more in the SCREENSHOT and HISTORICAL Topics.
They can all be mixed in an "elegant" and colorful context (kind like HINKELs ) with Indians on the Western LEFT side of the pic, Mexican/France on the bottom left, Canadians on top and ACW on the Right, with USA on the top and CSA on the right bottom.
....and a Great Pic of a painting, with wilderness and blue sky, a mountain and woods and river/lake...IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PIC!! 

.....and  in the very 1st Loadingscreen pic (the Josey Wales/Eastwood one!) we could add a well compiled text (ok....smbdy will correct my english!!  ) that describes the contents of the Mod?!!!
Ppl have time to read when the Screen gets loaded and atm I only have a short advise text there.

What do U folk think?!

Nice idea, think with an screenshot or an picture from the NATIVES in the background and a text in the foreground it comes very cool and it is simple to create.

The size and the length of the text dictate  Gabrilduro if he want this type of Loadingscreen.

UUHHHGGG....sorry sorry sorry, really.
That idiot of LOCO really took away a lot of time and attention from most important issues.
And made me late in some modding and fixing, damn... 

I LOVE that pic. They are some Pawnees Raiders, they seem.
Actually, some text would ruin the beauty of the image, jeees...
I d like to have it full screen and "clean", instead.

I wil work on the Josey Wales /Eastwood starting pic, instead. And I will add some more text there. Don t worry. 

If U can adapt that pic to the actual size of the pic that has some Federal troops charging (when U load a saved game, for example) and send it to me ready to drop it in the game, I will replace it with your new one ...and have finally some good pic of Indians!
