I have bought the game though,  that's why i wasn't sure why he was going on about cracks and reinstalling when I was talking about installing the mod not the game. I'm just not very good with mods.

Mine is actually weapons2.lod.dds as well, so this isn't the problem I don't think. But you can always try changing the name to weapons2.lod and if it doesn't fix it you can just change it back.

Gonna try downloading from both sources like you said Voso, only problem is one is quick and the other is well....not so.

EDIT: Yes! Finally got it working! Thanks Voso. Just transfered the file weapons2.lod.dds from one into the other and it loaded up! Thanks dude.

Has anyone figured out a fix for companions getting naked when you tell them to select there own loot after a battle?

Has anyone figured out a fix for companions getting naked when you tell them to select there own loot after a battle?

Don't tell them to replace their armor, just do it manually. Most of the time the companions will have nicer armor in their inventory, so you just ask to see their inventory, grab the armor, and put it on them. They do loot their own weapons correctly though, and horses too I believe, so you are safe with those selected.

You can just walk through it sometimes, if its somewhere you are allowed to walk. Otherwise, you have to go around it.


But for instance, if you were trying to go to Pyke you just click on Pyke and you will walk over the water. :]

In my game everyone is joining the North. Ironically there are a shitload of Lannisters that have defected to the North.

Loving this mod so far. The Dothraki are awfully hard though but I love that. You really have to be careful where you set up camp cus the Dothraki are so damn quick lol.

Much to my dismay, I'm still getting the "weapons2.lod" error.

I've downloaded both archives, and fiddled with the files a bit, but it won't fix it.

Does anyone have a clue about a possible fix ? Or, alternatively, could someone send me the file from a working installation ?

Loving this mod so far. The Dothraki are awfully hard though but I love that. You really have to be careful where you set up camp cus the Dothraki are so damn quick lol.

Those Dothraki kicked my ass when I first began. Thats why I hired a few of them as mercenaries and they are some bad mothers.
