Sneaking into towns/castles.. Impossible?

Does anyone feel that sneaking into towns/castles with just a knife in Brytenwalda is just about impossible if you are forced to fight the guards? Without the ability to block (except chamber blocking, which honestly isnt easy with that toothpick of a knife), I always get easily raped by the guards.

Perhaps we can have back the stick/rod like in native?

Agreed. If you don't get your companions/bodyguards with you you're as good as dead.

Putting in that walking stick you always had in native would be a fine fix for this, being able to block is key in fighting your way out.

Hahahahahaha yeaaah, no companions/anything but a chiv when you're spotted while sneaking.

I actually managed to down one of them once, get their weapon and shield and down the rest.

Seriously gave me a half-boner after I did that - taught me more about LIFE than The Expendables did.
