I know, I was just expressing my disappointment. Oh well maybe it will still turn out to be really really good.
My bad, I understood it that you took offense with his wording.
But yeah, too much accessibility can harm the product more than it can do good. Well from a gameplay perspective at least, for sales it's probably the complete opposite.

I can't really see this being too good actually, especially because
it's going to be like Mount&Blade, but more arcadey.
It's already too arcadey! The trailer is naff too, it just looks tacky.
and who's the humorless jackass that keeps on reporting my screenshots as spam?
the instructions on the first page says post screenshots that you particularly like, find humorous or want to brag about.
my high score and stat page screenshots fits all the criteria.

Well, I'm hoping it'll be good, but I doubt it, I've had my hopes crushed enough times already.
Also, really wishing they'll do a good singleplayer campaign.

When I saw that it was set during the War of the Roses I was suspecting a historically accurate game, that made the most of the innovations (sort of) of that war. As well as it is an era that is rarely mentioned at all, adding a sort of quirkiness to the game.

Note; Wars of the Roses. Plus failure to have House of York rose in the correct upright position, meh!  Anyone wanting to bet that this is akin to the Arthur RPG games?

Looks pretty good, hopefully there will be modding support.

Representing the Electorate of Bavaria in the Balance of Power 1750 game.

This doesn't sound good at all. Looks like they're using the M&B formula to make a medieval call of duty.

Does it?

And how have you arrived at that conclusion?

Saying that, I don't think it sounds like what that dude said. It sounds promising, though I haven't watched the trailer yet.
"You soon learn there's no elegance or dignity in death if you spend time in the castle kitchens.  You learn how ugly it is, and how good it tastes."

"From the rolling hills of suicide, everyone will run and hide.
Screaming bloody murder, with their heads on fire.
There just may be a chance for me.
My sweet insanity.
If you would take me with you on your trip to the moon."

It doesn't look bad. Looks interesting indeed. Kinda seems a continuation of the genre Taleworlds kickstarted with M&B. I've never heard of "Fatshark" though. :o
Nords ruled by King Ragnar, Khergits ruled by Sanjar Khan, Rhodoks ruled by King Graveth, Swadians ruled by King Harlaus, Vaegirs ruled by King Yaroglek. All those peoples live, fight, and die in the continent of Calradia. The Nords and Rhodoks field solely infantry and archers, the Swadians and Vaegirs have infantry, archers and cavalry and the Khergit field almost exclusively cavalry. No such things as "infarty" or "calvary" exist. Play Vikingr!
