I dont think this is exactly the right place to put this but i have an idea about the claiment line thingy... Wouldnt it be cool to have a clamient randomly without you attack his/her faction and you could join in if u wanted like offering then ur help or crushing they uprising and getting a big relation for from the faction and the king they attacked... Again just an idea that would be cool :)

Kind of curious... but what real-world cultures influenced the factions of Pendor? I can guess that Sarleon is based on Britian (the longbowmen and the lions on the heraldy) and Fierdsvain is based on Vikings... the Empire is based on the Romans, and D'Shar on... well, not sure specifically.

But what about Ravenstern? I can't really think of anything that relates to them.

Hi,

a question concerning the training grounds fief improvement: what does it do in addition to improving prosperity/income a bit and making recruitment of nobles possible?
It states in the description training the garrison would be possible but how exactly? I only saw some recruits spawning in my garrison but not sure if thats linked to this improvement.

Ah and one other question: i can't recruit a patrol from one of my villages after it was raided several times. I have build the sheriff fief improvement but the option is not there anymore.

Thanks in advance and best regards

To have a patrol your village needs a group of recruits ready. So it will only work if you also have the option to recruit some villagers. If you have recently taken the prospective warriors then you cannot make a patrol.

Also, there is a limit to how many patrols can exist at the same time. So if there are already too many patrols in the world you need to wait until some get wiped out.

The training grounds add some experience to garrisoned troops so they automatically level up over time. Though you don't get to choose their upgrade path.

Thanks for the quick responses roland35 and Golden Fish. :)  I recruit right away when visiting my village and there are many patrols in the world so thats really good to know.
I will try training some recruits with the training ground. Nearly everyone of my companions has some points in the trainer skill, so it wont be that fast but maybe a good option for the late game to come.

How do you eliminate an enemy faction? I'm playing as Ravenstern and we just finished taking over every village, castle, and city belonging to Sarleon. Is there something else I have to do to eliminate Sarleon?

every single lord of their faction, not sure if patrols too.

That won't work either way, the knights would change gender if you change your culture.

Pretty sure you don't have to do that, unless Pendor changed it. Generally you have to wait a week or two for a faction to be eliminated, there's a "grace period", so they have time to capture things.

Defeat all faction's lords remaining on the map and you have to wait only 1 day.

What if I just capture all their lords without taking over anything? I've got like half of the Empire lords captured. I also wanted to ask is it better to keep the lords in a castle or take them with you as prisoners.

Then you'd have a bunch of lords in your prisons while there are fiefs full of thousands of troops still left.
Castles - Less chance of escape esp with prison tower

I'm not 100% on this, but I'm almost sure that having multiple companions with trainer skill doesn't make a difference to how much experience you gain each night. The game takes the companion with the highest trainer skill, and uses that skill level plus the player's trainer skill to decide how much experience is gained each night and disregards all the other companions with low levels in trainer. This seems to be the case with all party skills, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
