well if you want to know mongols no one can say they were weak they were very strong nation strong
but before Genghis khan they were only small scattered tribes "nomads" only but with huge numbers
they invaded most of Asia and the eastern part of Europe and Iran Iraq Jordan Syria Lebanon Afghanistan Pakistan But when they reached Palestine They lost against the Mameluke Caliphat
In the battle of ayen Galoot even when they had  500,000,00 heavy  Infantrymen and Cavalrymen And that was the first lost in years and after 50 years they turned to Islam
and after there empire crumbled they repented

okay, a couple things.

when they fought the "mameluke caliphat" they were fighting agaisnt slaves who had previously worked alongside the mongols, and had an insight in they're tactics, although still not an excuse for the loss =/

Also, the mongols had pretty much every religion they encountered in their empire at some point or another. Every religion was accepted, they didn't "repent" they amalgamated themselves into the societies they were living in.

Yeah about that, at no point during history was there a 50,000,000 man army. At no point in history could a nation even arm and supply 50 million men. And their empire was still a long way from crumbling.

Oh and Mongolia itself never had a huge number of people.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say he's nomad.
This has to be the most retarded person alive!

This is beyond ridiculous.

If you have an opinion on which historical political entity was "da bom!!!!!!" state it, and be prepared to defend it.

BTW, in your earlier post about it being the arabs you mentioned Saladin: just want to tell you Salah Ad-din Yusuf Ibn Ayyub was a kurd. Further, you are doing what is a very common and incredibly stupid mistake, you are tying to apply modern framework/definitions/ways of thought/whatever to a different time.

So is it the Arabs in your opinion? If so, which state?

Funny, your Caliphat defeated Mongols ONCE with their forces about 20,000 men, a garrision forces left by Hulagu Khan and you already are ignorance this much, plus they never come back to you guys

How should us Vietnamese brag when we defeated them 3 times over and over, with their chief khanate on our ass for 31 years ? I don't want to imagine

They also being defeated left and right in VIETNAM, 3 times in total
"empire cumbled they repented"
Ignorance is bliss,

in middle ages arabs or mongols   and my caliphate defeated the Mongolian army with planning

Define "stronger" and "most civilized".

@Arzeal...please explain clearfy what exactly was so civilized in the mongols culture...0.

Like I said, They were just nomads. Surely strong but they were no more than that .... an Empire that lasted no more than 100 years...

Like I said..Romans or Moors....

Romans, the empire that lasted longer, and in some terms considered the most civilized during their existance,

Moors, I in first hand see the remnants of their civilization....
They were also damn strong.
"Sometimes, I feel the fear of,
uncertainty stinging clear.
And I can't help but ask
myself how much I'll let the fear
take the wheel and steer.

It's driven me before, and it seems to a faint,
haunting mass appeal.
But lately I, am beginning to find that I,
should be the one behind the wheel.

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there,
with open arms and open eyes, yeah.
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there,
I'll be there.... "

"They were just nomads". As they said about Mongols.
"They were just Greek imposers PLUS we sacked Rome twice". As Gauls said about Roman.
"They were just some barbarians in the East" As Macedonians said before they conquered Persia.

You wanted me to quote on books and sources that will falsify your own belief, right?
I say "waste of times", as you always declared head on about what you believe in, no amount of factual evidence will change it, instead it will only reinforce it. Psychology 101.
Investigate on your own if you want more than a biased view on history, and when you are ready.

Aye,  let's get back ... oh wait ...
I won't bother anymore, this thread is as hillarious as any Turk threads, instead I should go read other Turk threads more, since it's longer than this one, thus provide more entertainment  :D
