No problem on my FF.
Death will take you without a care for circumstance or timing; live life to the fullest without fear of death, or need to know why it chooses who it does - otherwise you are already dead.

Yeh, i'm getting that too, on firefox.
Aye, FF here too; the text box's right side stretches to what I only can guess is infinity.
Like I asked Swadius, have you done a full page refresh (or cleared your browser cache if you don't know how to do that)?
In Firefox, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard and reload the page.

Search is back up, by the way. Apparently the epel yum repository which serves Sphinx rolled it back to an older version between when I updated my test VM server and when I just now updated the actual forum server. So, I had to undo some changes I'd made for compatibility with that newer version.

Yeah, that went back to the default. I'll update it somewhat soonish to get rid of those.

I like the underlined links and have no visible lines underneath images, so that looks good. Very nice.

Well, there were more complications than expected this time, so it took a little longer. For some reason the MySQL update changed ownership of the MySQL database files, which naturally borked things up. Between that and the expected dependency errors, we're finally back after about an hour and 40 minutes.

Naturally...

For last half hour, I have never been more lost in my life. Also, on chrome the text bar extends to the abyss on the right side.

Edit: Yeah, the text box' width seems to be pretty large; I can't seem to pop enough letters into it to skip to the next line, although thankfully hitting enter works.

same on FF4

I encountered a problem with the new forum version. when posting, the text box width seem to be 3 times larger than it should be, so instead of starting a new line at the end of the visible range everything I type is invisible.

I am using FF4

EDIT:

EDIT:
Have you done a full refresh? I can't duplicate this behavior.
reasonable enough since I dont ecnouter this problem on chrome as well, but i am really unhappy about clearing all my browsing data like Swadius did, anyway to clear specific files? (I have a really crappy wifi
 and 20GB of cache files)

just finished editing. in short is there a more surgical solution, other than purging all my cache files?

EDIT: fixed, anyone with the same problem just press ctrl+shit+R, it reloads the page and clears its cache(and doesnt **** up everything else)

sorry you have to repeat yourself, but I didnt have time to read all the post, so I just skipped(ctrl+F) to the first person with the same problem and then followed the solution... anyway it's fixed now.
