Im a bit new to these sorts of games but I guess I be giving it a try. Someone inform me how its done, is it a role play based game and what not or?

Well, you have a role, but you don't want to play it, you want to keep it hidden. It's a game of trying to figure out other people's roles based on their actions. This should give you a basic overview. It's rules for playing the game in person; here it tends to get a bit more complicated and more analytical (in my experience) and lasts a lot longer.
