Auxiliaries

Dark Fade:
Sounds great, but think it would get a bit boring if you have limited party "slots" for different types of units, quickly adding that up, the "extra men" would take up ~5-10 slots and that isn't too fun when you are trying to fit a normal army (besides the support troops). That is, of course, if they don't have their own slots in the party screen.  :|

If I may suggest, support troops' role could also be somehow linked to the forts in the player's ownage.

Thumbs up, this would be an nice add if it can be put in an user friendly outfit, and additional unit types always add flavor to the game.

Why would a woman lower maintanance costs?  If anything, they should go through the roof once a woman is on board!

Haha so true, but only if she is your wife and you are near a market :P

Chefs would reduce the food consumption rate when used in conjunction with hunters... ? And they would auto-feed to the men, so that you don't need to hold any food at all!

Smith, I think I could buy some old, rusty weapons for him to repair, and then distribute to the soldiers, raising the 'arms' level.

When starting..... I don't know, have some wagons, flags and tents in the spawn point? (To make it look more like a camp) with those aux's inside.

 Not back then. In most cases, not now either. Women can be (had to be for anyone to keep them around back then) incredibly good at cleaning and cooking etc., and back then almost none of them were given money that they could potentially misuse.

Anyways, great ideas Hellequin-- that would add a lot of realism if implemented. I always thought there was something big missing from the party system...

Leprechaun:
Yep, good idea. I've been doing something along those lines in Forgotten Glory, but on a much smaller scale. I think it's a great idea, and would be very good to have in the game.
