now...really. Elephants (the small Indian ones..) don't seem that impossible. The only problem is that they run differently than the horse...

My secret to the size illusion involves the head of the creature hanging so low. Thats impossible with elephants, since they have a totally different head.

Progress report on the orc project (wich is what I'm focusing on now.)



I've already done five retextures for it. Warpaints, different fur colour and fur covered heads mostly.

Also, with the announcement of orcs/goblins comes alot of work so the pecentage rate has dropped.

Boar-tusks go straight up, not forward.

Also, I think it would look better if it tapered more at the back.

yeah, it looks more like an elephant but I like it..more fantasy, more dangerous looking.

yeah, I found it to have a much more aggresive look so I took that. Just added a little fantasy to the model.

Also, eogan, retextures are easy. I'll make another with black fur.

I am proud to present... Orcses !



Face animation is done, just some textures need to be done to make the thing complete. After that the troop trees and parties and its done.

The trollish helmets have been taken away from the merchant, and I'll have to add an NPC helmet merchant to the trollish_camp.
The helmet merchant wil check what race you are. If you're a troll you'll be able to buy helmets from him. This is just to prevent the size stuff, since when you're an orc, you'll have oversize helmets. (That said, its pretty obvious that the orc is already a playable race.)

Very nice, everything looks very....fantasy.

Is there any chance I can borrow that boar model? Ill need to retexture it, but it would really save me a lot of modeling trouble (and then i got to get highlander to rig it...), because I have a battle-boar thing planned for the norse.
