Hey folks,

I (finally) picked up WFAS a few weeks ago, and am about 100 days in and (may) have encountered a bug.

I'm doing the Polish quest line, and received the quest to capture a Swedish prisoner. I captured one from the script-spawned armies, but there is a problem: King Jan Kasmir is nowhere to be found.

He was defeated in battle a few weeks back, and I haven't seen him in any enemy parties or castles. I recieve the same "I don't know where xxxx is when asking anoint him. Worse yet, the same goes for two other lords. Will I have to restart, or is their a cheat for teleporting to lords?

Hello everyone

I was wondering if it is still possible to Beat the Deluge quest with the Kingdom of Sweden being destroyed. I'm currently assigned the task of capturing a Swedish prisoner, but since the kingdom is destroyed, there are none.

Does anyone know of a way to still accomplish this or do I have to start over?

Is there a ways to change the town/castle/fortress name ?? I got problem with distinguish between those in the world map cus be4 Towns have their name in cap but now town/castle/fortress all in cap so i have no idea which 1 is town unless i go there and check

What is the best one hand sword in the game? I know that you can order some expensive weapons from the weapon master but I don't know how good they are.

Honestly, go for something that is good for speed rating. It's something that can be really useful, especially when most of your enemies don't wear protective armour (musketeers, some light cavalry, etc.) - and does cutting damage (**c damage). Speed with weaponry seems to pile over everything else, I for one can't seem to stand using a prodding weapon like the rapier.

My weapon layout used to be:

1st slot - Sabre
2nd slot - Lance
3rd slot - Double-barrelled pistol
4th slot - Large bag of bullets

Don't go with anything that is SO fast but barely damage (and can't block), like knives. That way you're just hanging on to getting killed in every battle - there's a sword the Khanate use that I've seen in multiplayer matches which seems to have a slight curve to it and has a brilliant speed rating and damage. I'd suggest looking around, my load-out is best for anti-cavalry and picking off large groups.

No, you can only upgrade soldiers you hired from mercenary camps and simple peasants( for example: Scythe Wielder>
Militia Pikeman or Musket Militiaman).

2) Can I start and complete the special storylines for Cossack (black mace), Muscovite and/or Polish after I have joined the Swedish? Or, can I complete them and then join the Swedish? Can I complete all of the storylines in the same game?

3) I read that the best way to make a lot of money and fast is to send caravans, perhaps with spices or velvet to Muscow and around. The problem is that I find no mayor that would set up a caravan for those items... What is your thumbs-up rule in that case to make money?

1) The button is 'Z' by default, but I haven't been able to crouch even with Lances... I have only been able to do it with a Cavalry Lance. I haven't tried the hussar lance to see if that one also enables to crouch though.

2) I think you can only complete one of the missions in the same game, since it seems the story line reaches the end of the game. I also think the Swedish don't have a special story line.

3) Since with the latest patch, making money is horrible for a newcomer (while it was quite easy in previous versions), these posts helped me out:

I'd add that Sich tends to produce a lot of goods to be sending caravans all over. Clicking the option about checking the market is great and I wasn't using it before. Also, try to have as much Trade skill as possible (or one of your companions), since it will guide you a LOT on where to send the caravans for profit and so on.
