I'd like a rainy weather. :D
Random weather was added just before release, using a very basic algorithm that always tended to turn sunny and stay that way, so it was taken out; I haven't had a chance to finish it yet. Night time scenes can be created (just add the special scene prop that sets the time), but it's not possible to change the time of day (lighting) while a mission is running, so day / night cycles are not possible in PW.

Don't use that crafting info above for anything more than a reference for alpha3, the latest plan is something like: mining gives iron ore, worth about 1800, which when used in the forge produces 4 iron bars (450 each), which can be made into 2 long iron bars (1000 each), 8 short iron bars (220 each), and 16 iron pieces (100 each) - one handed swords will use a medium iron bar, rather than long, and spears will use iron pieces; engineers would get paid back for the cost of the resources, with a small profit on top of that depending on the skill required.

They made it work in crpg, but I think thats because the server resets and adjusts the lighting to whatever the time is.

And what about increasing an amouny of money you get for crafting steal weapons? Its good that you decreased needed resourses but still its more profitable to sell iron than produce something with it.
Actually it will even work better that when you produce a weapon it doesnt just refeal the stock but appears near, so you can decide whether to take a aproduced weapon or to sell it.
Also i find it kinda strange that shitty armin sword requires the same reources as elite scimitar. Maybe it better like i sadi before:
cheap swords - short iron bar
average swords - iron bar
good swords - long iron bar
Exclusive swords(like Great sword) - depends, foir example 1 long iron bar + wooden stick or smth.

A War Spear needs 704 denars to produce but you get only 100 denars for crafting one. How about 804 income for a War Spear.

Nope, Iron Ore is the raw mined Iron. That is refined into Iron bars. As you can probably not see by the chart below:

Iron Ore
\
Iron Piece - Small Iron Bar - Iron Bar - Large Iron Bar

That is the process of refining. Everything to the right needs two of the object to make it. Ex:
Two Small Iron Bars makes One Iron Bar.
While going to the left doubles the item. Ex:
One Iron Bar makes Two Small Iron Bars.
