Niiice!!
Do you have any regional restrictions for now? I mean, do you only wish to start with actual UK & IUreland castles for now?
Or can we dump any castle we want from alll Europe?? 'cause this thread could easily become a mess in no time...full of many european castles pictures... I don't know, I'm just asking, since i don't really have any idea of how much time it makes to create a castle scene. I just thuoght maybe you don't want to be with flooded with castle pics.

I can make any castle from northern or western Europe. Iberia would be the most difficult right now because there's a mix of muslin's and christian's buildings.

I adore the Welsh one. Absolutely fantastic.

Do you use the in game editor for this, or what?

For the Welsh castle I simply hosted a multiplayer game on Ruins and edited the terrain. Yes, I use the game editor.
So ehhh... hows the mod

fantastic, how are you?

I can provide a bunch of plans/schematics/layouts of some of the Bulgarian towns and fortresses, and can search for pics etc. later on (although most of them are now in ruins), though I presume that's quite unnecessary for now, considering the mod hasn't reached that far yet. But if anyone's interested, I'll see what I can do.

We are currently having problems with the entry-points for Dolwyddelan :|. I'm not making any other scenes with the multiplayer scene luckly.

Well changing scene entry points are not that hard, now is it?

Anyway, I'm pleased to see that E1200 has finnaly a scene maker. I'm eagarly awaiting the chance to test out you're work! :)

No, it's really easy. However, even with the entry-points already in place, they keep spawning in the wrong place.

There is a special brick architecture for the Netherlands and Poland, but that will come later.
Sounds great!

I didn't say we were on that. Architecture modelling is still too complex for me...

Oh sorry, I thought they were to be implemented in the mod, so anyone with some scene editing skills could be busy.

But if I understand you right, the textures still need to be fit to models of walls and such?

Great scenes Darth  But is the wall a bit off its place in the first castle? Near the castle itself, looks like it overlaps it just a bit.

Also, if you boys are looking for more sceners, Im basically unemployed right now, so yeah :)

Nice stuff!

One of the best and cutiest castles for me is the 'Alcázar de Segovia', wich I think was second residence of 'Los Reyes Católicos'. In the other hand I can't really imagine it in warband.

Also, the malaguician 'Alcazaba', as far as I know, one of the last almohads keeps in the old hispania. This fortress looks easier to do, the bad thing is that has a pair of walls (maybe the inner one could be enough).

Anyway the current Alcazar de Segovia was built centuries after the year of this mod.
What's more, the Alcazaba of Malaga, besides having been modified several times in the XIII-XIVth centuries, is not easy at all to make:

It looks like that because of the angle of the picture. It isn't off its place, don't worry :P. I think you should talk with Cruger if you want to help btw.

The 'Norman Palace' in Palermo Sicily.   I kinda looked this up on the fly so I will post more castles as I go.  Just let me know is this enough info to work with?

As for Norman palaces, I prefer the palaces in the Genoard, in Palermo, the Cuba, the Cubola and the Zisa:

Solid good-looking stone palaces, masterworks combining both Romanesque and Muslim architecture, with kuffic instriptions and araqueste reliefs, roman arches and Christian iconography. Magnificent.
