...Can you please, make a quick review of "Captain" multiplayer mode...?

N.B.:...if you have more screens, add them...

thanks^^,

As soon as I can find someone playing, so far I haven't. I ran around the empty map with my bots, controlling them is same as in SP.

Interesting.  On the other hand, game site and game store personnel could get reliable work as fluffers, the way they blow release dates.  At least we shouldn't be on the Duke Nukem plan (Preorder game, start family, send kids to pick up copy).

Can you purchase different numbers/types of bots? How many troop types can you pick from do they cost gold?

You can purchase better equipment/weapons. You  can play as cavalry, infantry, musketeer/archer(crimea). Troop types don't cost gold. I took some equipment screen shots.

Hey Ceriy!

Thank you for uploading all the pictures!

I have question though, have you seen anyone in the game named any of the following:

Longinus Podbipyenta

Michal Volodyovski

Zagloba

Yuri Bohun

I just wonder if they have npc's/lords of people from the book. I don't know how the names work out since your playing in Russian but anyway..

Yes they do, Most Lords are historical (37 are historic people, 3 of them are pretenders), that's why there is no marriage and you can't play as female.
Zagloba is a npc that's required for Poland game.
There are 3 nps (Poland/Moscovy/Cossacks) that are not recruitable unless you start playing their faction scenario.
Use google to translate the page about npc's.

Sich Studios is the developer of the game, not just part of it. We provide them with tech support, game balance/map design ideas, engine upgrades, marketing/pr work but Sich should be credited for making the game overall.
So, yeah, I bought the game yesterday "Mount & Blade: Ogniem i Mieczem: Dzikie Pola" ("Mount & Blade: The Great Battle", "Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword" or however you want to call it). I have to say the game is really good and worth buying. It feels like it's a mod for Warband but the kind of mod that many people (including me) would say they'd gladly pay for it. A few multiplayer servers are up and running (they feel a bit laggy though). Singleplayer has its own beautiful exotic (even for me - I'm from Poland) theme and real quest lines. There is no marriage, you can't choose gender, no arena nor tournaments, no artillery but there are lots of new things. Performance of the game is somewhere between Native Warband and Mount & Musket mod.

Thanks for posting the Lord names, I recognize a lot of them from the book, though the book did spell things a little different (probably to ease pronunciation for English speakers like myself).

Likely just different transliteration methods.  These have changed so rapidly over the years it is almost confusing.  Especially when different countries in the same language use separate methods.  (Like Britain, who uses the old Wade-Giles transliteration for Mandarin, while the rest of the English Speaking world, except maybe Australia, uses Pinyin)

Not to mention it has led to a lot of confusion over just what the name of someone is.  (See, for example.  "Genghis Khan" - that's an old and very wrong way to do his name.  It should be Chinggis, not Genghis.  And Khan in modern correct transliteration should be Xaan.  Pronounced Han with a bit of phlegm)

...Interesting questions answered by Mikail Yazbeck on "GamersDailyNews.com":...

GDN User: What is the relation between released in the Central and Eastern Europe "Mount & Blade: Ogniem i Mieczem: Dzikie Pola" ("Mount & Blade: The Great Battle") and the upcoming "Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword"? Will people that bought the first one get upgrades from TaleWorlds? Is this the same game?

Yazzy: That version is the Eastern European release of the game, that released before the International version. Yes it is the same game, and yes owners of the Eastern EU version(of the recent release) should be able to download all the patches that will update their game to the international version.

GDN User: "M&B: wFaS" will be moddable ? and mods from "Warband" will be compatible with wFaS ??

Yazzy: Yes definitely moddable! Some Warband mods will work immediately with WFaS others will require some adjustment by the authors in order to work properly.

N.B.:...you can find GDN article here, the answers are at the bottom of the page:...
