Friends, I was wondering if any of you knew a really good mod for Rome Total War?

I re-installed it out of nostalgia and would be up to try a worthwhile mod. I always played Vanilla, as it was many years ago and I never thought of looking for mods.

Europa Barbarorum is best mod for any total war so you need to get it!

I'm playing it at the moment, but I got RS2 enviroment on it

Europa Barbarorum is certainly my favourite. Also Roma Surrectum is quite good, it is a bit faster. There is also a Viking invasion mod around, based on the original Medieval TW I: Viking invasion expansion.

I used to play Company of Heroes Online a lot and even watch matches, very fun. It was free and high-quality.

They killed the game out of a sudden though, right?

Wouldn't know Harkon. Other than Vikingr I never play online. I love the campaigns, great levels, cutscenes etc. Also since red altert 1 I have been waiting for a good WWII strategy. And I know of no other games that also include basebuilding (sudden strike, soldiers of ww2 don't have that).

Just hope my pc can run the new CoH

edit: not fair. I also play a bit of battlefield heroes once in a while

Hehe, I am cursed with Strategy games.

I think I'm pretty competent when it comes to Single-Player (but then again, I guess everyone is ), but Multi-Player I rarely meet someone worse than me, it's like everybody's a professional.

Well its just first to start to beat the hardest computers on single player then you will have some kind of tactic and priority of buildings and soldiers and then at multiplayer some one will kick your ass. :D

Atleast this was my exp. at warhammer 40k before time when I was playing it regulary with a friend.

But in the end its geting boring making only one or 2 tactics wich are the only way to win, dont think that there is much flexibility at the hardest computers and ppl. (maybe Im misstaken, as I havent played online strategies for a long time (but this is other sad stroy) =( )

yeah strategy games are great  i like the total war games havent tryed any mods yet tough 
i miss the heat of viking battles raid and plunder
