These are general trueisms for fighting in melee combat, which would push most players to play female characters in multiplayer. You will end up in situations where a female character with a fast weapon will easily out 'spam' a male character with a medium speed weapon. If you cant counter attack, having more damage and more health doesnt matter at all.

While there are significant differences in average physical characteristics between men and women, well, those are averages. The variances in difference between more and less fit men, and more and less fit women, are significantly larger than the differences between an average man and an average woman anyway. Since each character is uniquely fit anyway in M&B (as represented by various stats), averages are hardly relevant for player characters. And Calradia being as sexist as it is and war as male-dominated as it is, I think it can be assumed that the fighting women found there aren't a representative sample of Calradian women anyway, but a selection of the most badass, valkyriesque ones.

While its true, anatomically, boys are more physically capable than girls.
However, this is a videogame.

The Devs have far greater concerns, and if they were to add something to Warband, I highly doubt it would be as trivial and unnecessary as gender differences.

That's just stupid and sexist, it's true that boys on average are physically stronger that doesnt mean that any boy is stronger or have more potential than every girl so there is no reason to make all male characters stronger than every female character on the game.
It's just as stupid as saying that characters with black or darker skin should run faster.

I find it annoying enough that other games and media have predetermined niches for male and female characters. I'd like for M&B to stay clear of such a pointless addition.

Not that I am some big Feminist (hate them), but the athletic differences are very minimal, and not worth implementing in the game.

I'm sorry, but are we living in the same universe? Athletic events are divided into male and female categories for a reason, and it's not inappropriate touching.
