When you click on Reports, there should be displayed date of next payday.

These are examples. I don't know if they're worth anything, but the basic idea is to improve the honor concept, which for now seems a bit as an empty feature to me, with very few profund gameplay implications.

I've read a fair amount of people noting that honor has little bearing in the game (esp. negative honor).  Yours is the first post I've seen with really excellent, thoughtful suggestions for improvement.  Even if the mod-team declines these ideas (for whatever good reasons) I wanted you to know that I found your ideas valuable and interesting!

You can't ask for more complete control of how that randomization process works.

I'll toss out the "gauntlet" one more time though.  If someone wants to come up with a viable list of settings for -every town- I will add it to TPE's options and may replace the standard TPE default of 100% on everything except 50% on mounts.  No one has taken me up on that since January.

Windy, is this something you'd actually like to have or just something to appease people who aren't happy with it? I personally love your tourny system.  It's got a really solid UI considering all the flexibility and it's more fun and re-playable than stock.

So, if this is a request for something that you'd really like to see, let me know the best way to structure the data for you and I'll take a shot at it.  I've got 100+ hours into this mod now so it's time to contribute back.  :)

Can I just ask if it's possible to get cattle to follow me instead? I would actually bother with cattle if it did.
I would like to suggest some sort of training you can get for the troops in your party which would give more experience boost for a much greater cost.
I would also like to suggest the ability to be able to have more influence over war and peace if you are a highly regarded vassal in a factions.
One last thing that I would love is to be able to see my own court position, just for an in game ego boost :)

You should be able to use TweakMB to make this happen.

What do you mean by this?

A little of both to be honest.  I stuck with a simple 100% for everything except mounts (50%) out of simplicity, but I'd be happier setting up tailored defaults that work better and have more flavor to them.  And of course it was one of the first, and largest, complaints about the new tournament system when 2.5 was in beta since each tournament was the same as the tournament design panel had not yet been created.  That was what drove me to create the design panel itself.  We just need to get more models of gear to flesh it out a bit.  I've always felt something like this was best done by players as it is a way folks can help contribute in areas that do not require any modding knowledge and lets them have some input into the shaping of things.

If you're interested in tailoring some defaults here is what I need:
1. The slider settings for each slider highlighted in the picture below.  That's the main design.  0-100% settings.  Mounts can only be 0% or 50-100%.  Anything between 1-49% will just get overridden depending on if the player has a mount as well.
(click to show/hide)
2. Weapon appearance selections (if you'd like them set ahead of time).
3. All of these should be based around using Adorno's overhauled scenes as that is the default.  An excel spreadsheet of towns vs. settings would probably be the simplest and easiest way to go, but anything I can read works for me.

What I'd really like is to give some flavor to different sections of the map.  In my own games I tend to have cities follow a faction flavor, but mix two faction's themes together on border towns.  Whatever seems reasonable sounds good to me as the 100%'s were never intended as a permanent solution.

Considering I am in the process of another large revamp of the tournament system (upgrading to 1.6), now is a good time to get such ideas included.  This is why v0.05 of the Workshop hasn't been released as it will bring TPE 1.6 with it once it is complete.

Can you add option to set weapon appearance to random? Like I set one-handed weapons appearance o random, so some participants will have swords, some axes.

Not the way the system is designed unfortunately.  It needs to know specifically what a one-handed weapon is to tell the AI how and when to switch weapons in combat.

Oh, it's pity. But I have another one-adding more types of weapons into appearance, two and one handed weapons are good, there aren't many types that could be added, but I am interested in polearm class. In most games, I specialize in polearms and there is only spear and lance. What about polehammers, dane axes, halberds, English bills, glaives and so on? I mean, that spear is pretty useless compared to halberds and others.

I do not know how to quote so I'll just quick reply:
What I mean by court position is, when I go on the cheat menu (which is the only thing I use cheats for) and go on update political notes, then go on notes and on a vassal, it shows their court position,, which I'm guessing means how much influence they have other decisions the faction leader makes, I would love to see my characters.

EDIT- and from reading the guy above, I would also like to see more style in tournaments, such as certain cultures having their own tournament armor and maybe a few different weapons. but of course making different mounts and weapons and stuff would be complicated to balance I'm guessing so what eva I'm happy with it just would like more variety.

As windy just stated - if you are willing to look through all towns and write down specific weapon chances for them and submit these numbers to windy, he ll look into it.

Player should become a knight an not a lord, and not as in work your way with freelancer. If the player is renowned enough / has a noble background they should have the opportunity to become a knight but not some regular infantry man. The player gets no lands but he can wander or he can follow around an army for a while, if he fights well he can get a fief (land) or maybe some higher position that does not entail lands.

Another suggestion:

One of the immersion issue related to enlistment is the fact that you are allowed to take lengthy (2 week long) leaves of absence whenever you feel like it. Man, the employment benefits medieval soldiers get!  :P Is it possible to put in any or all of the following to combat this?

1) The lord may approve or reject your application based on your relationship with him. If the application is rejected, you lose a few relationship points with him for annoying him.

2) Each time you (successfully) take leave, you lose a few relationship points with your hirer for inconveniencing him.

3) You are allowed only so many days of leave per game year. This counter should not reset when you leave employment to prevent gaming the system. This involves adding another list/array or 2 variables to each lord, however, which seems to me to be a little too much trouble.

I rather like these.

I have no experience or talent in modeling, so any such improvement along these lines relies on the talents of another.  The tournament design panel, however, is fully capable of adding new creations very easily and was built in part to entice folks with such skills to create new outfits.
