That happened to Calamity last night...he was running through the forest with his flashlight, coming to meet up with me and Gelden.  As we're asking him where he is, he starts screaming in mumble, rambling about how a horde of zombies are after him and some ninja Navy Seal is shooting at him....didn't end well.

Hey ass, I wasn't running with my flashlight on. I was swimming and the dude ganked me. Rest seems accurate though.

Tru fax, I've yet to figure out how to use my flashlight.I keep pressing the key it is binded to, but nothing happens.

It kinda amazes me the length people will go through just to pk you. Had this one dude stalk me for what felt like miles. He finally ended up dying as his inaccurate ass gunfire drew aggro from zombies.

It kinda amazes me how trusting people are. I axed some guy to death today in Berezino after he got the drop on me while I looted the small military camp there. My only weapon was a hatchet, and he had an M16A2. He even helped me kill zombies, much to his misfortune. He went into a tent, I pulled one to him on purpose and ran past him to the back of the tent. He stood just inside the doorway, shot it as it came into view, and I axed him.

He was apparently still alive, I even checked his pulse. Strong, so I decided I'd let him have it on the ground a couple of times. An axe doesn't run out of ammo.

His fault. If you aren't talking with them in vent/mumble/teamspeak, they're not trustworthy. That poor guy didn't know that, and needs to learn. Teach by example, make profit. Besides, he had a backpack I wanted. I've lost 3 or 4 coyote backpacks in the time I played DayZ, one of them I had been carrying around for 8 days before a hacker insta-killed the entire server I was on. That backpack was enough of a reason to kill him.

Truth be told, I dropped a Winchester about 2 minutes before meeting him. I didn't have any ammunition for it, so I took the hatchet into the camp with me so I could kill off zombies quietly. He probably would have shot me on the spot if I had the Winchester. It's funny, because if I had kept the Winchester then I would have been entirely defenseless.
