Basically, I want to have two versions of the mod on my machine: 1.3 and 1.32.

Pretty sure the process I described above will let me do that, though I have yet to install the 1.32 over writing one of the mod folders.
I've done this before with Diplomacy and for the same reasons. It works as you've intended.

You can certainly do that. I have 7 versions of Brytenwalda right now, just with different names like 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 etc.   :)

This is a bit of a tangent, but I think we all have to appreciate Taleworlds for these basic design features of the game, i.e., how easy it is to have several different versions of the same mod with separate save folders, etc.. Even a mod-dummy like myself can manage to figure this stuff out. Given how some games are going toward making modding less and less possible, and obligatory online accounts more and more required, let us hope that Taleworlds, and designers of similar ilk continue to thrive.

*Applauds Taleworlds*

*Applauds Brytenwalda designers!!*
The greatest joy a man can know is to conquer his enemies & drive them before him. To ride their horses & take away their possessions. To see faces of those who were dear bedewed with tears & clasp their wives & daughters to his arms.
