Given that Germany was formed by Prussia and the leading dynasty (Hohenzollerns) in Prussia were the German emperors up until it became a democracy in 1919 as a result of WWI, I'd think Germany was sort of Prussia getting a name change and adding the rest of the German territories, other than Austria and parts of Switzerland, to its demesne.

Well I'm glad we have your opinions on events that transpired decades ago. But in fact, Prussia no longer exists, and Germany is more than what Prussia once was, and Germany is also less of what Prussia once was.

I am giving no opinions on the matter, only facts.

And by "opinions" I mean this:

Quote
I'd think Germany was sort of Prussia getting a name change and adding the rest of the German territories, other than Austria and parts of Switzerland, to its demesne.

To much my agreement to Socks, Hitler hated EVERYTHING about Prussia.

I did not say that the Germany of 1933 was just Prussia with a name change. Countries do tend to change a bit over time in case you didn't notice; for example, take modern Sweden and the Swedish Empire as a great power in the 17th and 18th centuries. Would you say that they are the same country? Of course not; the former has evolved considerably from the latter, so that the only similarities are some instances of geography - disregarding the losses of Finland, Estonia, and parts of Norway - and language, so a comparison between those modern countries is pointless. And with respect I think modern Sweden, Germany, and France all are very much similar today, anyway.

First you say Germany just Prussia with a name change, then you say it isn't?

I didn't mean all of Germany as a nation's history, by Prussia getting a name change + the rest of the territories I was referring to the formation of Germany in 1871. See past-tense 'was', as opposed to saying that Germany is Prussia with a name change + rest of territories.

9th became Roger's Rangers right? Anyways, some of these smaller ones should merge so they can have a proper line battle with the 7th :D You can be the 5411429th Regiment of 4 Regiments(54,11,42,9)
