Long-Bows Highly underated
Llew:
This is what you might call my "Pet Peeve"
I am of the opinion that M&B's longbows are way to under-powered, In history they were a major threat in any battle
"rank upon rank fell under the storm of arrows from the English"
they had a Very long range, and a good English Longbow-men could do 9 shots per minute.
but in M&B they are the worst bow you can get...
I'd like to here people thoughts on this.
Virsita:
LLew has a good point here. In one of my textbooks from school it said that a person who was strong enough to pull the longbow to a high extent and let loose the arrow can kill foes instantly. It also said that a long bow arrow, fired with enough strength, could go through an armoured knights leg, into the horse, out the horse, into the other leg.
The power in the game is greatly underated.

Oh, yeah, sure, maybe if the armour the knight was wearing was just chainmaille, and if he was about 30 metres away.
Virsita:
Well, maybe, but it's power is still too weak in the game.
ArabArcher35:
They should just get more range, in-game. Longbows were hardly ever used as sniping weapons, as they are in M&B, but rather en masse, on massed formations across the field.
