Is there a way for armor sets to boost power in units?

like wearing the full Artificer set gives +stats to golems/blood engines, Fleshburner gives +stats to 'burned' units, etc.?

yes it is possible(atleast in Warband it is) and I don't think it would be too hard.

Couple of thoughts as I play the awesome 20.13:

What with all the junk I end up carrying around, the most useful craftable item the Necronomicon could offer me is something that adds to my inventory management skill. Suggestions for the item: a coffin, funerary pottery, some kind of bag filled with horrors or a death carriage.

An option under "Dismembering Corpses" to extract blood and possibly bones, without the other items. This would still destroy the corpse, so it's obviously not preferable, but sometimes you want to make bloodwine, gold or bread of the dead without having to clear out 13 spaces in your inventory.

Unfortunately I tried the inventory management skill and it was one of the skills that didn't work - the Pandora's Box was going to have that bonus.

And about the inventory juggling: it's intentional. Making space such a commodity encourages players to build Intelligence, which is usually the least touched attribute.

I was thinking about adding the options "Just Blood", "Just Eyes", "Just Brain", etc. - it provides another diabolical choice: either harvest all the organs and deal with juggling, or get only one reagent at a time from a corpse. I like it. This will probably happen next release.

On initial inspection I think I need to provide batch recipes for Bread of the Dead, Bloodwine and Iron to Gold, and for Burning, Boiling and Preserving undead troops.

That sucks.

I usually have a pretty high intelligence with all of my characters, didn't realize people shunned it. I like having the extra skill points, especially for high level surgery, because I hate replacing elite troops. Intelligent companions level too slowly for my tastes, so I do it myself. (BTW, this mod is the only one where I normally pump strength above about 12, due to the greater item stat requirements.)

I could certainly see the first three needing a batch option, especially if you add the option to remove only blood or bones. For the last three, I wouldn't bother unless you get bored. If there were enough materials available for purchase to batch produce burned, boiled or preserved troops, it might actually be necessary but as it is, I could never see keeping those around in my inventory for batch production. There's usually only one or two to purchase in a town and there's too many other things competing for slots to leave them banging around in the old backpack, I think.

I was just watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom,  the scene with the priest reenacting his favorite fatality from Mortal Kombat Kalima! and I just thought of something.  Live sacrifices.

I know there is a kill prisoners option, but these looters should suffer more for even thinking they could take me on.  Maybe along the line of monsterously corrupting them, resulting in a creature similar to those in The Thing 1982 version.  It so much more entertaining when the corpse is still fresh...and screaming

That's a pretty neat idea.  One of the things I do love is that we have so much control over our prisoners in this game, and the making vampires/werewolves is a great touch.  Torturing the insolent would be a great feature.  And one other thing I would love to see in this area: Killing Lords... Permanently.

You kinda already can do that.  Simply capture them then kill all your prisoners.  Problem solved!

Seconded.

Also, maybe all the kings could have some special item? There's a whole bunch of bloody medieval legends about nobility and kings. The Nords shouldn't prove a problem either. The only one I could see being slightly more difficult is the Vaegirs, but I trust you make the right choices.

Hello, your freaky not-dead undead mod is great!
 I has a suggestion!
Currently the zombie troop tree is basicly the light melee/range/horse/heavy very scary but unkempt
It might me nice to see some better organised undead
the current undead look pretty grusome(in a good way) and scary but how about
skeleton warriors armed with axe, plate armour and huscarl shield (with your banner of course)
and their ranged counterparts, the warbow armed skeleton archer! supported by light skeleton nomads armed with saber and namesake bow.
This also gives you another option for nerco -friendly armour
The reason i suggest it is because the current undead while quit cool, look rather unprofessional, I was just hoping for a grander army option neh?

Oh another idea!
maby you can combine the leadership and prisoner skills?
That leaves you with an open skill slot to play with, maby more economic/alternative corpse harvesting? (e.g being able to 'bleed' prisoners for extra blood but only once a month/week) it means you can have a more constant blood supply and a reason to keep them alive at a castle where you can go whenever you need blood.

Also

A nerco fortress/catacomb/ancien cemetary hidden on the map? overflowing with hostile undead but conqourable, a nice dark fortress with extra chest space and harvestable bone gardens to 'grow' your usual corpse harvesting ingredients like skin, blood and bones. Maby some merchants will see the profit that can come from selling oil and such there?
