I thought Extra Invasion had credits for all it's materials and meshes but alright then, already reported it.}

btw same question as Kacpigh2 how's progress? Will it still be released at the end of the month?


 
Progress is good, it's more of a job then I thought, but you wouldn't believe how much is done, thou this kind of things kill the desire for modding when you know your hard work is taken for granted and stolen.

Man, i just downloaded this new version of Extra Invasion... it's unbelievable how many things they stealed there like the Van Helsing Crossbow from Light&Darkness mod and some models from WoW.

And some bfr's named "Taleworlds people are assholes" and so the lists goes on...



 
There's nothing that can be done about it, really. The guy who makes it, Alex_Dragon, is Chinese, so people cant like contact his internet provider or sue him or something like that. The only thing we can do is to endure and keep removing his content. Some of the Chinese community seem to be on board with this luckily, trying to help keeping him under the boot.

Also, reported him, looks like the mod link was already removed.
 
Alex_Dragon and lungie did this, I am trying to resolve the matter as best as I can, and help from you guys is the one thing that actually give results, I guess united community is the only way to defend from theft, thank you guys!

Alex_Dragon and Lungie is the same person. He's got loads of puppets all across various forums, including this one, though Goker seems more than capable of banning his ass whenever he shows up.
The guy has got some serious problems, as evident by this:

Only thing we can do is report him to the moderators on moddb and report all his downloads. He's not only stealing Zimkes work, but also ripping models and textures from published games, which is very much illegal.
 
This is f**king infuriating, we should contact the admins of moddb and inform them that this mod is basically an illegal mix of different mods.
Also, arent there some precautions you can take to prevent stuff like this from happening?
 
Items are removed now, that's finished. But when it comes to taking  precautions there are none, this is going to happen again with some other guy sooner or later, so it's all up to community and reporting and speaking with admins etc.. :/ I guess I will need to take a screenshot of each item, pack it up in a rar file and email it to myself before AOC II get's released, makes providing evidences easier and it's the only precaution I know.

Progress is going fine, as much time permits, slowly packing thing together and adding some cool stuff like heraldic horses, helmets, new weapons, new armirs, civilian clothes, new horses, coding, new scenes :smile:
 
what he hopes to gain from it. because he knows it was not him who did ... he may deceive everyone but can not deceive. 'll always know that ... and a fake...

but very sad and see your work stolen...
