Great tool!  :)
Note: In vista and 7 I believe you have to right click and "Execute as Administrator".

Realy i love it. It is perfect for finding the errors. Perfect work. Thank you very much.

Hello,

Can someone please provide me with the Mount & Blade vanilla registry key ?

Mount&Blade Warband -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mount&Blade Warband
Mount&Blade vanilla -> ??

I have the steam version of the game, and I am trying to get this great looking tool to work with it.

Thank you.

PS : Mandatory registry checks are not a good practice for such modding tools.
Either use an ini file, or ask for user input at launch.
Still, it is just a personal observation, and my gratitude remains.

Then it can't find your Warband. Do you have Warband installed?
This registry key needs to have a non-empty value:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mount&Blade Warband", "Install_Path"

The key for the vanilla MB install folder is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mount&Blade, Default for non-Steam versions, so if you copy your install path there, it will work.
The tool should work for both Steam and non-Steam Warband versions, only the Steam version of vanilla MB is not detected.

That is what I first thought as well :

(click to show/hide)

The M&B Warband key is correctly recognized by your app, the M&B vanilla one for some reason is not : I get an error message.

Thank you for your reply, hopefully we can work something out for us Steam users to use your fine app too.

The key name is "" or (Default) as shown by regedit. Assign it a value of your install folder and you should be fine.

FYI, OpenBRF has now builtin module error checking functionality too. Can be handy for those unlucky (like me) who could not make Mod Verifier run on their system

Sorry for bumping the thread, but this tool doesn't work for me anymore. When I try to run it, it says "There are missing files, please contact to the producer" or something like that. There is nothing missing, that's the problem. :D Any idea how to fix this?

Reinstall? The tool doesn't change over time on its own :).

That's why I was surprised. A few months ago, it worked perfectly, but now this problem appears. (By the way I reinstalled 2-3 times :)) Does this problem only happens to me? :D

I've been trying to get working your .NET tool, mate. No avail.
Even renamed the deploy executable and ran it directly.

It keeps stalling in the Task Manager without showing anything.
Maybe related to the system architecture? I don't have idea.

I'm like the antithesis of installers and the C# / .NET world. And this deployment thingie is a bit... confusing.

Lol, I have no idea. :)
I should probably rewrite it in some less cumbersome language with easy installation, but it's kind of a waste of time after Marco implemented the usage checks in OpenBRF. (It still works on my PC with WinXP, though :))

Don't worry, I've made my own tool for checking missing and unused SCOs, sounds and BRFs. Handy. :)
Checking against scenes.txt, sounds.txt and module.ini respectively. Supports common files too. I needed it for SWC in a hurry.
