What happens if i kill a king?

So i have the king of vaegirs in my prison garrison, and i want to murder him. I'm not sure if this is IN the ORIGINAL GAME. but i have a mod called "Sword of damecols warlords" or something like that, and i have the king and there is an option to kill him, my question is, if i kill him, will his man fall and dissappear?

Just tested. when i kill him everyone is angey/hostile/grumpy against me

what a surprise!
After all, you've just shown all the local lords that you have no problem slaughtering even the highest nobility in your quest for power. You'd think they'd be celebrating and sending you little 'thank you' cards, cheering you on to kill more of their peers

Anyway, not an unexpected result
