So how does this work?

Ok, so I just downloaded the mod and want to get into it.

Do I HAVE TO join a regiment? Do I HAVE TO download teamspeak? I'm not big on clans and such and cannot take any commitments as of present.

Can I just join any server and play?

your totally free to just join MM_Official battle or any other MM server and play with on obligation to join a regiment at all. Have fun!

Indeed, there are plenty of public servers to practice or play casually on, however, you may find yourself  trying to be recruited a lot, as regiments are always looking for new faces. If you want the Linebattle experience as well as the public casual play I recommend joining one of these regiments. If you're unsure about certain regiments you can check their Taleworlds page in the Battalions section of this forum.

The answer is NO you don't have to join a regiment/clan, that decision is purely yours.
