Is there like a good source I can find out and read about the Russian Army during the napoleonic wars? Just out of curiosity? Because I see alot of different kinds of russian regiments with different ranks and names and I'm into military and stuff

this has some good stuff in it, BlueHawk i'm sure can  get you a ton of information on Russia.

If your trying to set up something like a regiment then feel free to PM me and I can set you up. I'd love to help history wise but Bluehawk probally knows more.

bluehawk = completely bombarded by historical facts about russia that you would otherwise not have known, and can now rub in the face of your friends.

Menalaos is right.

Pekhotnyy is the adjective derived from Pekhota - infantry. In January of 1811, all "musketeer regiments" were re-designated "infantry", and most NW regiments are based on the 1812 war or later.

Wow, i didn't know that
