Not time fitting joke, but this is first place I have possipility to post joke;
Not written by me
"a Russian column was advancing along a road untill behind a ridge was heard a voice yelling "1 finn equals 10 ruskies!"
Angry commander ordered 10 russians to climb the ridge and silence the finn. Couple shots were heard, but then it became silent again.
Then the finn shouted "1 finn equals 100 ruskies!". Now 100 men were told to attack. Heavy fire was heard for a while until it came silent again.
"1 finn equals 1000 ruskies!" sounded the third mocking behind the ridge.
The furious russian commander sent 1000 soldiers this time and now a small war was started. Artillery and machine guns sang.
After a long firefight silence returned again wich was broken by a lone, limbing, russian soldier yelling "do not guys go! It's a trap! there's two of 'em!"
Same joke has been told about Romans and Scots, so just change Finns to Romans if you wish
