Game freezes and then crashes when I try to load a specific save.

I try to load the save and it will freeze on the loading screen and eventually crash. It seems like it gives an error message, something about C++, but I never get to see all of it because it goes away as soon as I tab out.

Loading up any other save is fine. I'd like to find out what's causing it so I can avoid it or fix it. Anyone had this happen or know what it is?

I have a core i7 2600k, GTX 580, 8gb RAM, Windows 7 64 bit.  I've done the fix to make it large address aware, load textures on demand is on, I don't use the Steam version, instead using the standalone.  I couldn't find anything about this specific problem in the FAQ, so apologies if I overlooked it.

We would need an rgl log taken from after a crash to have any chance of debugging the crash.

Ah, I didn't even think of that - deleted the save out of frustration some time after posting this. 

Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
