BIG PROBLEM - no recruits available

hi fellow soldiers, i can't find / have the option for recruiting new units. not in the cities, castles or villages. i searched every sub-menu and have spoken with some village elders. i also tried it with different factions.....no recruitment available. i haven't spend any of my starting money and should have enough for paying for at least some soldiers...but none available. i also can see all villages on the campaign map. ... and i'm hoping not to make a complete fool about me (for missing something out) :p

i use m&b 1.011 and the latest version of this (seemingly) beautiful mod, including the update from april.

help would be highly appreciated ^^

problem solved

i re-installed m&b with the setup-exe from the homepage (i used an older setup with the ninja patch)...maybe this was the problem.
