i dont think u should add little factions like duchy of limburg
cause it would get to crowded in that area just add them with brabant or frisia

also note: 'terpen' were only made in nothern holland(frisia/ north-holland/groningen)
thay also appeared in nothern-germany and denmark but they were called warften in german and verften or værften
in danish i think( correct me if im wrong!!)

but i think u guys are doing an awesome job with al the research

yeah but still a mercenary who has 10 peasants following him and isn´t known at all( and probaly has broken weapons and stuff)
is still an peasant in their eyes
i usally play the game with an pretty hard background no noble and stuff
but if i wanted i could be a vassal at day 20  wich is including battles like 2 hours playing after that i get bored and start a new player

it could also be optional and they ask u this at the beginning of the game

what i useally do is bringing an ally lord with me let the lord of the castle/town fight him and siege the castle/town
then when your done u help your lord since no time passes
