    Closed Multiplayer servers broken

There is not any change on that end. It was always like this. If there are not enough players the game will start with less on warmup mode to shorten the waiting time.

We don't have bots in the game and currently don't have any plans to add them. (Troops on captain mode are not bots)

Marking this thread as closed. Feel free to let us know if this issue persists.
I'm confused to that last part because the troops definitely seem like npcs that I commanded to do something. Definitely not being completely controlled swings etc. OK at least I got a reply

    Closed Multiplayer servers broken

We have just checked and all the servers are up and running at the moment for PS4/PS5. Are you still experiencing this issue?
Anyway we could get bots to fill the missing teams? Maybe even a solo player could be able to play these modes

    I can play with......

I prefer controllers myself especially ps5s controller. It works fine but you can definitely tell that it's not perfect, it work's better than most console versions of game. Meaning the devs probably don't even care about controllers interaction on most games. Controllers definitely take more skill and I also feel that you can be more immersed. Have a friend that lost movement in one of his arms that switched to mk so that he could still compete with me. Pretty big handicap and mk allow him to keep his same skill level

    Idea for coop mode

Really hoping to see a coop campaign mode on ps5. Being able to declare war on each other's kingdom and trade etc. Kinda like civ 6

    Player cheating in Bannerlord multiplayer

Kinda wondering if this hasn't made its way to console with then zen being used. Have met several players that block everything from a entire group with a 1 hander. Also spinning like a top and still blocks and hits everyone

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

I can post here as much as I like. I'm not the one talking about my fighting prowess. Lol. Also this isn't rambling your inconsequential comments don't fuel anything but your own ego. Definitely not a skill issue when I'm taking top spot on board with 30 people playing. Keep talking **** and not liking what I have to say idgaf

Possible Exploit? You can be the judge

Idk sounds like people who uses this tactic are full of skill and are the best players with keyboard and mouse. Exploits don't exists because because a actual knight in the forums told me he can fight with swords and stuff

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Don't even bother replying to me in a disrespect manner. I'm not scared of children or oriental magical arts.

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

So you can't see the difference between cheaters using a third party software and players who have mastered the game mechanics.

Spinning like a top won't be enough to beat a good player, but apparently it works against you.

Yes that's how you fight irl. You hit and block as fast as you can and you use feints. That's how I win my kickboxing fights, works the same with a sword.

You won't get popular if you call other players cheaters or exploiters instead of trying to understand how the game works.

In the singleplayer if you set the combat difficulty on ''challenging" (the highest difficulty) you will notice that the ai enemies use feints. And the strongest characters feint a lot. You would certainly call king Caladog an exploiter.
So yes, feints are coded in the game.
But I guess you only play on easy mode.

By the way feints exist in all melee games and any decent player knows how to use them.

True for pc games in general however I've never met any cheater on Bannerlord. The multiplayer community is quite small so they would get identified really quick.

You're not good. Everything you said demontrates you have zero understanding of the combat system.

Stop pretending that good players are exploiting and start learning from your mistakes.
Yeah OK whatever I see the same basic things said about any other game where cheating exists. It doesn't exist you just are no good and Im a actual knight in real life says the commenter lmao. Just so I get to talk some **** that you can't Google (40 rounds)

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Have you ever fought irl with saber or sword? My gut feelings tell me no. You have no idea how easy you have it in bannerlord compared to real life.
You aren't unpopular, you write nonsense.
How dumb are you? Did you just try and flaunt your fighting ability in a fighting games forum. Lmao

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Console players being disadvantaged isn't new. It applies to almost every game, it's why "Aim Assist" doesn't exist on PC. If you don't want disadvantage, I'd recommend not using twiddle sticks. Or play a game where it is an advantage, like Rocket League.

The games mechanics are very interlayered and complex, for example "perfect" blocking, where you block just before the attack hits. This will stun your opponent longer after their attack and makes you faster to counter-attack. These things aren't immediatley obvious and are why M and B has such a steep learning curve but might help explain your experiences.

One thing I can say though is in 11 years of playing this series of games I've seen less hackers than I can count on one hand. And even then they were basic auto-blockers which even in Warband without the relativistic blocking in Bannerlord, was pretty ineffective. In Bannerlord, such a hack is even less effective due to any blocking direction theoretically being able to block any attack.
Understood but I prefer a controller and pretty sure PC has the most cheaters/exploit/hackers. Not saying bannerlord but just in general. I'm definitely going to keep playing although the spinning in the guide from last reply doesn't appear to have a limit like it states

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

I see feinting being described, but this is a player describing how to do something. Not a dev confirming its not a exploit. Also it doesn't mention receiving damage from the feint or blocking a feint then another attack happens immediately after.

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

People play this game on consoles?
Sure do and I'm actually very good until someone has to switch to keyboard and mouse to beat me.
Didn't original Mount & Blade have a chambering tutorial at the start of the game?
I've seen chamberblock pop up on my screen. I'm really just talking about me blocking someone and them swinging again before I can even lower my shield

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

I'm glad to get so many responses seems I've struck a nerve. Now go spin like a top at your next enemy and act like taking advantage of a mechanic or exploit is cheating.
This guy doesn't realize that feinting exists in real life.
Is this how you fight irl spinning faster than possible and swinging and blocking during. SOMETHING TELLS ME IT IS.
    Arguments about whether feinting i
People play this game on consoles?

s cheating date back to warband. To be honest i actually do feel this is the games fault in a way. For all the carryover between SP and MP in both games they never encourage players to use feinting or even blocking really, so people go into MP and see all these mechanics they didn't know were possible and get annoyed.
That's why I commented in the first place but I can see I'm unpopular already.

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Clearly your a much better sport and player than me no reason to comment at all. That's sarcasm from a console player BTW. I'm sure the guys cheating in cod have the same thing to say about their game tactics. Oh its not cheating it's a tactic or mechanic.
  18. Webbwulf

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

So they are not cheating, and you accuse them of cheating? Fine.

They are using game mechanic to beat you, you can practice the same game mechanic yourself if you want to beat them.
If you exploit the game purposely that is cheating but I can see that we don't have the same values at all so there's not any point for me to continue my side of the argument.

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Alright I'll bite, what exploits/cheats have you seen in multiplayer.
Not sure if it's literally cheating but I've noticed certain people able to hit as if they're was desink (not sure if I spelled that correctly) and it's usually the same people. I just don't stand a chance against them and I'm not a bad player. Also using key board mouse kinda allows you to have enough of a advantage that it's basically a exploit. Also the feint is a exploit. Being able to spin like a top and block and hit like it's actually possible to time that. I get to play games alot and maybe allot of it is just the game not working the correct way in bannerlord. Although I was really good at chivalry 2 then all of a sudden I wasnt when most of the psn players quit.

When will you start actively dealing with cheaters in multiplayer?

Might as well give it up. It's the most toxic players that exploit everything and they are the ones most willing to reply
