Bought NW this morning on Steam and played it just fine, so not even a day after release it's fixed, what's the crying for, is your life really that dull? plenty of good games have one issue or another on release day because of things unforseen or out of the hands of the developers and most of the time they get fixed ASAP, which has happened here. Sure it's dissapointing on release day when the game you got doesn't work yet, but just go do something else instead of making a thread crying about it, it is not going to change anything, be patient in future before you **** the bed and make a cry thread.
It's no ones fault tbh, Steam probably only had 500 keys because they massively underestimated the sales and only wanted that amount of keys, most likely because they didn't realise exactly how many people would buy it and TW didn't want to make a promise they might have not been able to keep, considering Warband doesn't exactly have a large playerbase compaired to alot of other popular games and NW is just an improved version of a mod for that game, TW did not want to oversell themselves, that's fine. Neither company wants to take bad risks for good reasons, they didn't need to take the risk, the keys went, then they got more and it was sorted, no problem and that's just business and business is required so brilliant games can keep being produced.
I hope this thread is banished to the after life seeing that this problem is now fixed ( fixed within half a day at that, boohoo, my life is over ).
